Show us the straight way,
The way of those whom Thou has favored...(The Openning)
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through me.—Isa al-Maseeh (John
14:6)
Salam Alekum.
Welcome Muslim Friends to the True Islam site! The Muslim who
longs to know God cries out in his heart "Show
us the way. Not the way of the wicked, but the
way of those whom you have favored." Strangely,
just trying our best to submit to God is not acceptable
to God. As the book of Proverbs [after the Taurat]
says, "There is a way that seems right to
a man, but in the end it leads to death"
(14:12). And "all our righteousness acts
are like filthy rags" (Isaiah [after the
Zabur] 64:6). But how can this be true?
Hear the words of the prophet Isaiah:
For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares
the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts
than your thoughts..." (Isaiah [after the Zabur]
55:8,9)
Some wonder why Isa al-Maseeh is featured
so prominently in this site. There are many reasons,
which will become apparent as you read. Suffice it to
say for now that the sacred scriptures themselves feature
Him most prominently, and though there have been many
prophets, but there is only one Messiah. In addition,
those who are serious about really submitting to God
must study His life, work and words closely. After all,
He alone practiced perfect submission to God: "He
committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth"
(Isaiah [after the Zabur] 53:9 and I Peter 2:22 [in
the Injil]), whereas among all others "There is
no one righteous, not even one" ( Psalms 5:9 [Zabur].
If it is true that one cannot impart what he
does not possess, then Isa al-Maseeh alone can show
us the true way of submission to God.
